The city of Nice lights up each end of the year for the delight of young and old.
We offer you a complete visit with traditional nocturnal photos, a series of interactive virtual tours connected to each other, but also more or less whirling videos.

A festive air of end of years for Christmas and New Year's Day

village noel enlightenment massena niceIt floats a perfume of magic on the place Masséna, as well on the sea side around the fountain of the sun as on the side Galeries Lafayette, but also in the village of Christmas at the foot of the big wheel.

Place Masséna lights up

In the early morning and at dusk, the red ocher facades of the square is adorned with a beautiful light show. Then spin projections of all colors and shapes. Passersby, heads in the air, admire the show from the place almost entirely reserved for pedestrians. The users of the tramway and the two motorized streets also benefit from the light show.

The Christmas Village

After going through the security checkpoint you will get to the Christmas Village. The fifty-meter high Ferris wheel, adorned with thirty-six cabins, visible from all the hills and high points of Nice, dominates the place. An ice rink offers the most agile an opportunity to twirl on the ice, while gourmands will feast the taste buds in the many stalls present. Open every day from 10h to 20h and 22h00 Fridays and Saturdays, the village hosts dozens of small cottages that offer either to eat (mulled wine, local beers, mini tartiflettes or excellent local Socca etc ...) or to make purchases of Christmas gifts (crafts, clothes, jewelry, delicatessens etc.). The very friendly place usually fills up at night and does not fill the weekend. The Canadian-inspired sugar shack and Santa's house attract children in large numbers, while free shows punctuate the day.
